connection to the communities of Far North Queensland and the Northern Territory. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the civil, mining, construction, and agricultural sectors, Andrew has developed specialized skills in heavy machinery operation, road grading, and fleet management.
His career has taken him across regions including Wujal Wujal, Normanton, Cairns, Weipa, Palm Island, Arnhem Land, Groote Island, and Darwin, where he worked with Road Tec, Cairns Council,
Wujal Council, and Carpentaria Shire Council, completing essential infrastructure projects. As Executive Manager, Andrew’s leadership is
instrumental in upholding BlackSwan Haulers’ commitment to safety, quality, and community- centered service. He holds an HR license and multiple certifications, enabling him to operate a range of equipment from loaders to excavators. His passion lies in building infrastructure that enhances connectivity and economic
opportunities for communities in Far North Queensland, and he finds the greatest reward in seeing projects positively impact the lives of
residents.
Nikita Sellin is the founder and driving force behind BlackSwan Haulers, bringing a unique blend of legal expertise, executive experience, and a deep-rooted connection to the trucking industry. With over seven years as a solicitor, Nikita has successfully managed
her own law firm, Black Swan Legal Practice, specializing in Indigenous corporation governance, criminal advocacy, and community support. Her leadership experience also includes serving as CEO of a non-profit organization, where she honed her skills in management and community-focused service.
Nikita’s passion for trucking and civil works stems from her family legacy; her grandfather spent decades driving road trains across Australia, instilling in her a strong appreciation for the industry and its importance to regional communities.
